We are looking for a Learning & Development Director to join our Corporate Team and will report to the VP of Human Resources. The Learning and Development Director is responsible assessing company-wide developmental needs to drive training and development initiatives and programs. It identifies and develops solutions that meet Avalign and employee’s needs. This position actively searches, creatively designs, and implements effective methods to educate and enhance performance. Job Scope:

What You’ll Do:

• Develops and implements learning strategies and programs that align and support Avalign and site business needs
• Reviews individual and organizational development needs to identify strategies and solutions to meet needs
• Deploy different kinds of development methods companywide٫ such as coaching٫ mentoring, job-shadowing٫ online or in-person training
• Establishes curriculum for supervisor and leadership training; organize e-learning courses٫ workshops and other learning and development activities
• Monitors and measures the success of development plans and learning strategies and programs
• Collaborates with managers to establish programs and develop employees through career paths and Development programs including internships, apprenticeships, and Professional Development Programs
• Oversee budgets and negotiates contracts with external partners.
• Works closely with site leadership to manage, design and deliver programs and practices that support site strategies and goals
• Designs and conducts training, on-boarding, and other learning programs.
• Develops and maintains Learning Management Systems to capture and track data. Prepares a variety of internal reports, records employee information.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline
• 7+ years related experience and/or training
• Knowledge & experience in designing & delivering effective learning
• HR Certification (Preferred)
